ECS SmartFlex™ provides unmatched flexibility to choose both the computer architecture and the camera technology of the machine vision solution for your papermill.

Traditional legacy GigE cameras, Internet Protocol (IP) cameras and newer higher resolution smart cameras can be combined in the same system. This allows mills that have installed legacy GigE front end components the option to upgrade to smart cameras on a per position basis. Either option can be virtualized within an ECS server or mill supplied computer hardware to eliminate forced computer hardware obsolescence.
